IN THE GRASS BY THE SEA

Simplicity in poetry and print.  Sweet moments of reflection in the grass by the sea.  Sprigs of grass loose in the wind, splinters from driftwood all lightly brushed with premium quality professional grade ink and reproduced on white high gloss photo paper.  I dipped the end of a pine cone in gold ink to dab on dots of sand and added hearts to round out the connection of spirit and nature.

CAT IN THE NIGHT WOODS

HEARTS AND FLOWERS

 Working in black and white is basic and clean.  Using premium quality professional grade black ink, these leaves, ferns, twigs were gently brushed and transposed directly onto white board. AUTUMN TEA

FROGS IN THE STUMP GARDEN

 These old stumps are alive with foliage and frogs.  Ferns and leaves and small pieces of firs are brushed with premium quality professional grade ink.  Woody growths are brushed in black, the toll of time and exposure showing in their darker areas.  One very distinguishable frog is evident, but other eyes are watching.  This would be a fun piece for a child's room.

WOODY PATH TO THE BEACH

Curved, misshapen twigs, vines of ivy, sprigs of evergreens line the woody path to the beach.  Sea grass is bending in the gentle east breeze, gulls are chattering and driftwood is nestled down in golden sand.  Here's the quote at the bottom of print.  "Rest on traveled driftwood, body light, mind free, spirit joyful."
